Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Split Panda and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Delete by email

If you can no longer sign in or have uninstalled the app, email trisole99@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership of the email address and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Your personal subscriptions and notification preferences
  • Shared expenses and settlements in groups you were part of

Why some shared records are kept. An expense you split is also the record of what other people owe each other. Deleting it would silently change the balances of people who did not ask for their data to be removed, so those shared records remain — with your name replaced by “Deleted user”. They no longer identify you, and nothing that can identify you remains attached to them.

If you settle up and leave your groups before deleting, less shared history remains.

Retention

Personal data is erased at the moment you confirm deletion. Encrypted backups are rotated on a rolling basis and any residual copies are overwritten within 30 days.
